Santi Pietro e Paolo is traditionally associated with 1105, although the Ecclesial Cultural Park dates architectural features to the early 13th century. The Basilica of San Giacomo houses the devotion to Our Lady of the Chain, established here from the 15th century. San Benedetto preserves a Madonna and Child by Vito d’Anna. Other churches include Sant’Antonio Abate, San Marco, Santa Maria, Carmine and San Vincenzo. Outside town stand San Nicola and the Cuba of Santa Domenica.
